What is the Winter Festival & Market?

Every second Saturday in December, from 10 AM to 4 PM, New Castle Public Library hosts our annual Winter Festival & Market, which includes:

• Craft Market
• Bake Sale
• Lunch Special (“The Hot Dog Spot” – grab a hot dog, a bag of chips, and a drink to fuel your day!)
• Book Sale (Sponsored by the New Castle Library Friends)
• Live Music
• And More!

All proceeds benefit New Castle Public Library!

Notes about the selection process:

We do NOT accept applications for MLMs (Multilevel Marketing, such as but not limited to Scentsy, Mary Kay, LuLaRoe, Avon, etc.). The Winter Festival and Market focuses on craft vendors who are creating their wares. The purpose of this event is to provide our community with a place to start their self-crafted businesses. We often receive many applications for MLMs and must eliminate the MLM business model to ensure we have a diverse, competitive vendor market.

Space is limited. We do curate our vendors depending on the type of business. We only allow a limited number of jewelry makers, photographers, crocheters, etc., again to ensure a diverse and competitive vendor market.

Vendor Fees:

If selected to vend at our next event, vendors must pay a nonrefundable vendor fee to secure their spot. Information about deadlines and how to pay the vendor fees will be emailed to selected vendors before the event, usually sometime between July and September.

Vendor Fee Schedule:

• Main Level Location – $65
  • Includes a provided table, of varying sizes depending on table number assignment, and two chairs – no additional space is available for additional tables
  • 9 vendor tables available
• Lower Level Location
  • Single Table – $35
    • Includes a provided table and two chairs – no additional space for vendor-supplied table or oversized display pieces
    • 6 vendor spots available
  • Double Table – $50
    • Includes provided table, two chairs, and space for an additional vendor-supplied table
    • 10 vendor spots available
